This piece was made for Kongkee’s North American debut at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. His show “Warring States Cyberpunk,” is an immersive exhibition combining futurist fantasies, illustration and animation. The neon is divided into two portions, each on their own wall. Both walls stood about 10ft. by 10 ft. the entire piece was made with about 500 feet of glass, making up 64 individual pieces of neon. The piece is now about of the Asian Art Museums permanent collection.
